Software provider OBS Logistics is demonstrating its Calidus ePOD solution for mobile and tablet devices at the CV Show 2015.
Developed to support delivery companies, Calidus ePOD uses the latest Android smartphone technology platforms including TomTom Pro 827x, to provide integrated navigation, photo capture and barcode scanning as well as an electronic signature capture.
Information is transmitted back to the system in real time, giving instant tracking information to the customer service team, allowing a quicker response to customers, stronger cash flow and increased stock accuracy.
Matt Turner, Business Manager at OBS Logistics said, “CALIDUS ePOD is a versatile system that has been chosen by third party logistics providers, pallet networks, distributors and service companies, as well as public sector organisations. It provides greater visibility of the delivery process while reducing administrative costs.”
Visitors to the CV Show can see Calidus ePOD in action on stand 4K60.
