Lancashire-based logistics provider GBA Services has reported strong year-on-year growth, helped by significant demand for air-charter shipments.

The company claims a 36% increase in year-to-date sales and more than 40% increase in revenue across its European operations.

GBA Services recently acquired a 50,000 sq.ft warehouse facility in the West Midlands, as well as adding to its vehicle fleet, to cater for the company’s ongoing expansion ambitions. 10 new DAF XF 460 FT Super Space Cabs and 45 Mercedes Sprinter 316 CDI vans are joining the existing vehicle fleet, which will allow the company to enhance its time-critical services.

Sales Director, Wayne Smith said, “We’re making rapid progress with our air-charter business specifically. Demand for goods is high and that means our time-critical expertise is reaping rewards. It’s part of a continuing upturn in business for us and matches our forecast for long-term growth.”
