Vauxhall has updated its Vivaro and Movano vans for Model Year 2016 with new Euro-6 engines and additional driver assistance systems.

The Vivaro Combi, built at Vauxhall’s Luton factory, has been given a new 1.6-litre turbo-diesel engine in two levels of tune. The entry-level engine produces 95hp and 260Nm, while the top-level version is a twin-turbo model producing 125hp and 320Nm. Both versions are Euro-6 compliant and come with a start-stop system to further reduce urban fuel consumption.

The Movano Combi and Minibus models have also been fitted with a new 2.3-litre Euro-6 turbo-diesel engine, available in outputs of 145hp and 170hp. Again, stop-start technology is standard on both versions of the engine.

Vivaro models will see new options available including keyless entry and start and an upgraded infotainment system.

Movano models will be available for the first time with an optional driver assistance package, which comprises automatic high-beam, lane departure warning, fog lights and trip computer.
