Vauxhall has secured a deal to supply 150 new British-built Vivaro vans to domestic appliance giant Hoover Candy.
Once all of the vehicles have been delivered, expected to be by 2017, Hoover Candy will have an all-Vauxhall van fleet. The company’s service engineers will use the vans to carry out essential maintenance work and appliance services all over the UK.
The new deal follows an initial purchase of 36 Vivaros last year.
Neil Parsons, Fleet Operations Manager at Hoover Candy, said, “Since adding the initial 36 Vivaros to our fleet last year, we have been able to see how well they perform in real-world conditions for our operations. Not only have the vehicles really impressed us, but so have the high levels of service provided by the Vauxhall team.”
Hoover Candy has ordered the L1H1 variant with the 1.6 120PS BiTurbo engine for all of their vehicles. Rear parking sensors, bespoke internal racking and Hoover livery will all be fitted to each model ahead of delivery.
