Iveco has unveiled its extensive new Eurocargo range at an event in Italy this week.
The new Eurocargo range will be available in a variety of configurations, with a choice of day cab, crew cab, sleeper cab and high-roof sleeper cab models; seven power ratings from 160hp to 320hp, 11 transmission options, 15 wheelbases from 2,790mm to 6,570mm, a choice of 4×2 or 4×4, plus an extensive range of final axle ratios.
In addition to the rigid models, the new range will be available as a specialist conversion for road sweeper applications, plus Iveco has decided to reintroduce a range of urban articulated models for gross carriage weights (GCW) from 18 tonnes to 35 tonnes.
All 4×2 models will continue to be supplied to the UK and Irish markets with a ZF automated gearbox as standard. Manual gearboxes and fully automated Allison transmissions continue to be available as options.
Models with a dual passenger bench seat will also benefit from headrests as standard in the UK and Ireland, with other key features following the central European vehicle specification.
The new truck is due to arrive in the UK in a matter of weeks, with Iveco expecting that demonstrators will be available from dealers in October.
