Hiab is launching its new Multilift skip loader at this week’s RWM resource efficiency and waste management show in Birmingham.
The new loader has been comprehensively redesigned to reduce weight and increase payload, without compromising the vehicle’s strength or safety. The company claims that the new load structure will increase payload by between 300-500kg, meaning fewer loads required and subsequent savings in fuel costs and CO2 emissions.
Longer telescopic arms increase the loader’s reach, improving access to difficult sites, while a remotely activated skip cover improves operator safety by eliminating the need to climb onto the vehicle. The Multilift is also fitted with hydraulic side stops, container locks and safety interlocks, and can further be optioned with additional remote controls, on-board weighing system and smart-drive telescopic arms and stabiliser legs.
Hiab National Sales Manager Alastair Evans believes the new loader is a jump forward. “It’s vitally important that our customers are provided with the very latest forward-thinking products.
It’s our role to keep up with changes in market conditions and legislation on their behalf, and to set the bar in providing them with the very best technological, environmental and safety equipment around.”
