Purpose of the Post:
- Administration for: Company Secretariat (SMMT Ltd and its subsidiaries), Corporate records, Charitable Trust, Legal Services department.
Qualifications/Skills/Attributes required:
- ICSA part or fully qualified (study support given if required)
- Excellent and consistent organisational and administrative skills
- High degree of accuracy
- Understanding confidential and professional standards
- Good interpersonal skills, in person, on the phone and by email
- Self starter with team allegiance and accountability
- Creative and innovative in continual improvements to administrative tasks
Main duties include:
- Company Secretariat administration for the SMMT Ltd and its subsidiaries: in accordance with statutory requirements (including Companies House records), and as may be required by the Operations Director
- Corporate records administration, to include: insurance, contracts, compliance policies, corporate calendar preparation, corporate meetings (and minutes), oversee annual board elections; non executive letters of appointment (and briefing packs); anti bribery register; Data Protection registrations; Trade Mark registrations;
- Charitable Trust administration: register of trustees; letters of appointment; briefing packs; meeting arrangements (and minutes); annual return; oversee annual audit; grant applications
- Legal Services department administration
