Shortlisted finalists have been announced for an annual awards scheme to recognise excellence for those working in the logistics industry.
The Talent in Logistics Awards is dedicated to rewarding the people who train, lead and inspire front-line teams in the transport and logistics industry. The full list of 2017 finalists is available here: www.talentinlogistics.co.uk/finalists.
Those shortlisted for the awards – which highlight the importance of excellence in training, learning and development – include managers, instructors, trainers and apprentices from training providers and in-house training departments across the supply chain.
Individuals and teams from several well-known companies including Tesco, Royal Mail, XPO Logistics and John Lewis Partnership are among the finalists.
Finalists have been selected by a panel of industry experts including event media partners SHD Logistics, Transport Operator, Health and Safety at Work and Training Journal, and representatives from the CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport), RHA (Road Haulage Association), FLTA (Fork Lift Truck Association), Women in Logistics and charity Transaid.
The Talent in Logistics Awards ceremony takes place at the Telford International Centre, West Midlands, on 22 June.
