Volvo is renewing the entire long-haul fleet for UK retailer Halfords Group.
Supplied by dealer The Hartstone Group, Volvo is supplying 50 FH 6×2 tractors equipped with D13K 493bhp engines mated to I-Shift automated manual transmissions.
Each model is equipped with the latest Volvo safety features, including forward collision warning, AEBS, lane keeping support and nearside proximity sensors. The FH tractors are in Globetrotter XL specification, which provides an all-steel safety cab and a bespoke catwalk solution designed to give a non-slip platform during coupling. The package also includes Volvo Gold contracts which guarantee 100 percent uptime and the Dynafleet telematics package.
