DAF has supplied a further 250 XF trucks to Spanish transport operator Primafrio following a successful introduction of 30 XF vehicles.
Headquartered in Murcia, Primafrio specialises in the transportation of cooled, frozen and high value goods, with a total fleet of 2,000 trucks. The DAF XF trucks fitted with the 12.9-litre PACCAR MX-13 engine with 480hp have delivered a fuel efficiency improvement of over 7% for Primafrio.
“Based on the excellent reliability and fuel efficiency of the first 30 XF trucks added to our fleet, we have taken delivery of another 250 units”, commented Juan Conesa, Managing Director of Primafrio. “These great new trucks are part of our plan to further expand our business throughout Europe. To support our position as a premium transport operator we required a premium product, offering lowest operating cost, among others through lowest fuel consumption.
