Fiat has introduced a new, manufacturer-approved converted business programme at the CV Show, which will allow customers to order fully converted vehicles direct from the factory.
The new programme, called ‘Ready For Professionals’, offers a range of conversions with three different wheelbase options, chassis cab and double cab with hundreds of customisation options. Three engine options are available, with the Multijet II 2.3-litre diesel offered in 130, 150 and 180hp, and a choice of six-speed manual or six-speed automated manual gearboxes.
The available conversions include a dropside truck with aluminium or all-steel side panels, one- and three-way tippers, Luton and Low Floor Luton vans and a Utility Cab available with Double Cab Dropside or Tipper. A wealth of additional options can also be specified, including heated and sprung seats, tachograph, a refrigerated compartment, hill descent control, lane departure warning and roll over mitigation amongst others.
