With Brexit uncertainty ongoing – and both government and industry continuing “no deal” preparations in case the worst happens – members needing further advice on how best to prepare can take advantage of SMMT’s Brexit Readiness Programme, available online.
Five global brands from the legal and accountancy sectors: Deloitte, Grant Thornton, Gowling WLG, PWC and Squire Patton Boggs, have joined forces with SMMT to offer expert advice and consultancy services to members, including a free helpline, on key Brexit topics.
These include tax, trade, customs, finance, regulatory changes and more. Most of the information is absolutely free, and there could not be a better time to access the services on offer.
So far, there have been more than 1,200 visits to the Brexit programme online portal, with engaging webinars offering advice and guidance on the latest developments. A further webinar takes place on Tuesday 20 November covering regulatory changes that could occur when the UK leaves the EU.
There will be further presentations at SMMT committee meetings and new content will be available in the near future.
You can find the Brexit Readiness Programme here, you just need to log in with your SMMT username and password when prompted. If you have trouble accessing the information, please get in touch with member services.
