On-demand travel and ridesharing service, ArrivaClick, has been launched in Leicester.
The flexible transport solution promises users across the city luxury travel whenever and wherever they most need it.
Funded by Drummond Estate, landowners of the new Lubbesthorpe housing development, customers simply select their chosen pick-up point and destination on the ArrivaClick app and pay for their journeys up front
ArrivaClick then matches multiple passengers heading in the same direction and books them into a shared vehicles, maximising space and minimising road usage.
Simon Finnie, Area Managing Director for Arriva Midlands South, said: “Think of ArrivaClick as being like a bus that’s smart enough to come to you whenever you most need it. It offers a truly bespoke journey experience, putting control back into the hands of the passenger.”
ArrivaClick services are already operating in Liverpool and Kent.
