Comedian, actor and writer Al Murray has been confirmed as the celebrity guest speaker for the 103rd SMMT Annual Dinner, to be held on Tuesday 26 November 2019 at Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
Well known for his chat show, Al Murray’s Happy Hour, and his character persona The Pub Landlord, Al‘s other TV credits include Time Gentlemen Please, The Royal Variety Performance, Stand Up Central, Live at the Apollo and Live at the Palladium. As The Pub Landlord, Murray has hosted history programmes, written best-selling books and famously ran as a parliamentary candidate in the 2015 general election.
More than 1,000 guests from across all sections of the automotive industry, government and media are expected to attend this year’s event, which will be hosted by SMMT President, George Gillespie OBE, Executive Chairman, HORIBA MIRA.
