Prevost, a subsidiary of Volvo Buses, has secured its highest value order ever, with the win of two contracts from New York State’s Metropolitan Transport Authority (MTA).
The contracts will see Prevost supply up to 330 buses, with a firm order of 307 units to be delivered by 2022 and the option of an additional 23 units thereafter.
The order will allow Volvo Buses to double production at the Prevost factory in Plattsburgh, New York.
