Dutch bus and coach manufacturer VDL has set up a new operation in the UK, giving it direct access to one of its most strategically important markets.
Based in Barnsley, VDL Bus and Coach will provide a full sales, aftersales and parts operation alongside an established partner network.
As part of the move, the opening of a new parts warehouse will allow the company to better support UK customers and grow its presence.
The whole VDL line-up, including the Citea Electric bus, will be offered in the UK but the initial focus will be on the VDL Futura coach.
