Due to popular demand and number of enquiries, the SMMT has extended the applications deadline for its Apprenticeship Support Programme to 31st October.
Launched earlier this month, the programme sets out to secure the future talent of the auto sector, offering a stipend towards annual salaries of currently employed apprentices. As coronavirus restrictions tighten, businesses are forced to make tough decisions, and the fund is here to make sure the pipeline of future leaders and innovators of UK Automotive is protected.
