As I have mentioned before, my entire career has been spent in this industry sector, and I am sure I have attended every Commercial Vehicle Show, and its predecessor, the IRTE. In fact, I seem to remember my first attendance was in 1992. One of the main exhibitors was Seddon Atkinson, with a then jaw-dropping 400hp tractor unit.
All these years later, it is great to see that the anticipated show is back in our calendars, with exhibitors and visitors eager to return to the NEC. This year’s show will take place in September, and as ever will be a key date in many calendars as the best opportunity to do business and network in the year. Plus, we can already confirm that the 2022 show will be held during next spring, and in 2023, we’ll return to the business-as-normal slot in April.
