Last week saw the welcome return of the Commercial Vehicle Show. Although not surprisingly, smaller than usual, nonetheless there was a steady flow of visitors, and feedback from all the exhibitors I spoke to was very positive: Quality over quantity being the most common quote.
The one thing that stood out was the focus on new technology, reflecting the change underway across the automotive sector. Some commentators believe that around 30% of LCV registrations next year could be battery electric. This would be an enormous shift in the market requiring new infrastructure and skills.
