South Wales Haulier Inter-Haul Pallet Services has purchased 11 new MAN trucks through dealership WG Davies of Cardiff.

The latest batch includes two MAN three axle 26 tonne TGS rigids, six TGX 26.470 tractors and three range topping Individual Lion S 26.510s.

Inter-Haul, founder member and shareholder of the Pallet-Track Network, operate 41 MAN trucks from its headquarters in Pontypridd and its Swindon depot.

The new trucks are powered by MAN’s latest generation Euro6D compliant, low consumption engines and feature Emergency Brake Assist, Electronic Stability Programme, Anti-Slip Regulation and Lane Guard System.

Included in the specification is the Electronic Parking Brake, which applies automatically when the vehicle is parked, with the gearbox in neutral and the ignition key removed.

All the vehicles are supported by MAN Truck & Bus UK’s Nationwide Commercial Vehicle Dealer network, with many operating extended hours, including round-the-clock servicing and customer tailored solution maintenance.

Mark Waite, Managing Director Inter-Haul, said; “We very much enjoy the partnering and trusted relationship we’ve formed with MAN Truck & Bus, MAN’s local Sales Executive David Hopkins and our local dealership WG Davies of Cardiff.

“Over the years we’ve found WG Davies’s approach to be very much based on offering high levels of focussed and tailored customer service.

“In terms of efficiency, when looking at whole life vehicle costs, our MAN Trucks offer us outstanding value for money. With a high level of car like comfort driver acceptance is good, as is the high level of technology in terms of both driver safety and assistance aids.”
