Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has won a new fleet deal to deliver 15 ABT e-Transporter 6.1 vans to aviation detailing business, Up & Away.
The all-electric fleet will be used by the team to transport aircraft and helicopter cleaning equipment to and from airports across the UK.
Up & Away Aviation Detailing serves the UK’s private aircraft industry by offering a full range of interior and exterior valeting, and detailing services.
The ABT e-Transporter was developed in collaboration with Premium Partner ABT e-Line and has an all-electric range of up to 82 miles, with cargo space of 6.7m3.
Flexible charging options allow for an 80% charge in 45 minutes.
The new fleet of all-electric ABT e-Transporters features a bespoke livery and has been converted to include tailored racking to store equipment securely in the vans.
Up & Away says the ABT e-Transporters will help it reach its carbon neutral targets.
