Why is the CV Show important to you?

We have always considered the CV Show as the highlight of the Commercial Vehicle automotive calendar and have consistently exhibited since 2006. The show provides us with the valuable opportunity of showcasing our products to new customers whilst reconnecting with existing customers. What makes the show special, though, is having unexpected conversations that lead to exciting new opportunities. Every year the show has delivered new relationships and new propositions that make it a very worthwhile venture.

What are you highlighting/showcasing at the show this year?

We have advanced our product portfolio this year with special emphasis on bespoke solutions for electric vans. We have two electric vehicles on our stand this year, both fully kitted out with a wide range of our locking and shielding products.

Amongst the innovations has been the development of a range of Cargo Locks specifically tested for all uses, including low temperature refrigeration fitment.

Locks 4 Vans will also showcase our latest Anti-Peel solutions at the show. We are constantly innovating to protect against the growing ‘peel and steal’ attack method, and this generation of product continues to push boundaries.

What is your favourite CV Show memory?

Last year we launched the new Innovation Centre at Locks 4 Vans and we celebrated this business expansion with a new style show stand for the CV Show.  The new stand enabled us to better represent our product range and elevate our brand. The customer response at the show was overwhelming, so much so that we have increased our show footprint three-fold this year.

What’s your advice for anyone attending the show for the first time?

There is always lots to see at the CV Show and regardless of how much you plan your day the schedule can easily be ambushed by the unexpected discussion about a new idea or project. The best advice is to arrive early and allow the quality time necessary to absorb all the information.

What are your anticipated highlights for this year?

We are looking forward to seeing the advancements in the various electric vans and how they will help shape the future of the Commercial Vehicle industry over the next few years. Being able to view all of the new products under one roof is an opportunity for our Innovation Team to brainstorm and discuss bespoke solutions for each of the brands. However, the key highlight for the Locks 4 Vans team will be to engage with our customers face to face once again and gain valuable insights to the challenges they face with their businesses.
