Why is the CV Show important to you?

The CV Show is a real opportunity for London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) as it brings together van and commercial vehicle customers with manufacturers under one roof. The event presents us with a unique opportunity to speak directly to both new and existing customers about our products and highlight everything our VN5 and TX has to offer.

What are you highlighting/showcasing at the show this year?

This year we will be highlighting our VN5 van. As well as having our own LEVC stand – 5B40, Hall 5 – our VN5 will also be appearing on four other exhibitor stands via our customers and commercial partners, which includes Sortimo/Pod Point, Motormax and Geotab.

The CV Show will give us the opportunity to highlight everything that the VN5 can offer customers, including a total flexible range of 319 miles, and 64 miles pure electric range completely eliminating range anxiety. Offering a class-leading turning circle, renowned durability and high-quality driver comfort features, the VN5’s popularity continues to grow and for good reason.

What is your favourite CV Show memory?

My favourite CV show memory would probably be from last year as it was the first time we showed VN5 to the public. We had a great stand, right at the front of the show and seeing the faces of the customers who had never seen the vehicle before was great.

It also meant we were able to explain the range-extender technology and gain genuine interest from customers that now understand how this vehicle can work for them.

What’s your advice for anyone attending the show for the first time?

My main advice would be to make the most of your time there, make sure you see all of the manufacturers at the show.

It’s also important to set up appointments with suppliers that you really want to talk to, but always be prepared to come back later in the day to have the conversations you need to. The beginning of the day tends to be everyone’s busiest time on stand, so later in the day might mean more time with key manufacturers.

What are your anticipated highlights for this year?

We made a number of really good contacts at last year’s CV Show and we look forward to building on that and meeting more prospective VN5 customers.

James Drake-Lee, Director of Marketing & Communications, LEVC.
