EV charging specialist Compleo Charging Solutions has opened its new UK base in Abingdon as it looks to grow its share in the fleet, hotel and public car park sectors.
The site on Abingdon Business Park replaces an older, smaller premises close to Swindon that the firm’s UK team has occupied for the last three years.
It will also be the location for Compleo’s Training Academy in the UK, where chargepoint installers and network operators can learn the skills they need to deliver and use the firm’s AC and DC charging products and bespoke software services.
Parent company Compleo Charging Solutions AG already has offices in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Sweden.
Compleo recently fitted 33 EV chargers at the depot of Oxford Direct Services (ODS), the firm that uses electric trucks to collect business waste on behalf of Oxford City Council.
It has also supplied a network of motorcycle chargers to Abingdon-based Oxford Harley-Davidson as part of a pan-European rollout programme.
