Tell us a bit about the history of Bott?

The Bott Group was established over 90 years ago in a workshop near Gaildorf, Germany. Bott Ltd has been manufacturing workplace storage and van racking equipment in the UK for over 40 years. Collectively the Bott Group has three European manufacturing sites, the UK, Germany and Hungary.

We have three sites here in the UK: our manufacturing site in Bude, Cornwall, specialising in our workshop storage solutions, and our vehicle conversion centres in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire and Cumbernauld, Scotland, with each being pivotal to serving our customers.

What sort of van conversions does the company typically carry out?

We carry out vehicle conversions to both fleet and trade customers at our vehicle conversion centres. We have three racking ranges, Bott vario3, Bott uno3 and Bott modulo3, all installed by our expert team of technicians. Our ranges are fully flexible and can be adapted to any vehicle and for any industry.

Bott modulo3 can be purchased and configured online via the Bott Smartvan website. It’s a leading ‘self-fit’ e-commerce solution which has enjoyed tremendous success over the last years. We don’t just stop at van racking and storage. We provide a full range of in-house developed services, including tailored specification design, electrical systems, in-vehicle technologies, van graphics design and decal fitting, plus specialist vehicle builds.

Tell us about the van racking configurator customers can use?

New to the show this year, we’re giving customers the chance to digitally create their own van racking solution with our vario3 range with help from our expert team.

Modifying their van of choice, customers will be able to customise the vario3 range to fit their chosen spec. This is a fantastic opportunity to see first-hand how our van racking can support a smooth and organised day to day for anyone from service fleets to plumbers and electricians.

What will Bott be showcasing on its stand at the CV Show?

This year we’re going big, with an array of vehicles showcasing our offering, covering the full bott product portfolio. Each of our three product ranges, Bott vario3, Bott uno3 and Bott modulo3 will be available for customers to get up close and personal with, to get a real understanding of the quality of products we have to offer.

We will have our phenomenal team on hand to speak with both new and existing customers, providing their product expertise and support. We’re also excited to communicate our steps to our environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals, focusing our journey to working smarter for a changing world.

New for Bott, meanwhile, is the development and growth of our UK fitting partner network. We have recently signed up some fantastic, accredited fitting partners. This is an approach that we will continue to develop, supporting our nationwide network goals.

We are very much looking forward to meeting potential partners of the future at the show.

How important is the CV Show to Bott?

We are incredibly passionate and proud of our offering at Bott and having the chance to share this on a scale as big as the CV Show is a fantastic opportunity for us. The show allows us to showcase our presence amongst the industry, as well as communicate our key messages including our manufacturing excellence, our ESG goals and fitting partner network to both new and existing customers.

The CV Show is always a highlight in our calendar and provides us with opportunities which is why we return each year. Any opportunity for face-to-face engagement with customers, suppliers and associations is always of great value and we look forward to some great conversations… and some fun!
