All-electric manufacturer Volta Trucks has confirmed Sapphire Vehicle Services (SVS) as its first certified service partner for the UK.
SVS has 16 accredited service and maintenance facilities in the UK, from Scotland to the South Coast.
The company also has mobile servicing units linked to each location, supporting its commitment to providing a 24/7 service to customers and playing a major role in the Volta’s Truck as a Service (TaaS) offering.
Along with experienced and knowledgeable EV-trained technicians, specialists will take part in extensive training on Volta Zero vehicles, provided by the Volta Trucks Academy based in Tottenham.
The Volta Zero is the world’s first purpose-built all-electric 16-tonne vehicle for urban logistics, with a zero emission range of up to 125 miles.
Casper Norden, Chief Fleet Solutions Office at Volta Trucks, said: “Certified service partners are an integral part of our strategy for vehicle care, further supporting operations in cities and urban environments outside the vicinity of our Truck as a Service Hub locations.
“Servicing and maintenance is a cornerstone of the TaaS proposition, so with our Hub locations and certified service partners working together, we’re providing customers with a comprehensive solution and ongoing confidence in the uptime of their Volta Zero.”
