SMMT has recently returned from California where we hosted the UK Pavilion at the Electric Vehicle Symposium (EVS36) in Sacramento, providing some of the UKs most innovate and exciting companies in electric and zero emission vehicle technology the opportunity to explore new international business opportunities with companies in the US. We also just held our annual International Automotive Summit, attended by hundreds of key industry contacts where SMMT launched Manifesto 2030; our call to government to commit to five key pledges and to recognise the strategic importance of automotive to the UK economy.

We’re also organising the UK Pavilion at Automechanika Dubai, the largest international trade exhibition for the aftermarket sector in the wider Middle East region, from 2 – 4 October. Last year’s edition had over 40,000 visitors and we look forward to providing UK companies with the opportunity to exhibit here.
