Smart Transport National Conference, the UK’s largest two-day conference, returns to Birmingham on 21-22 November as transport leaders and policymakers come together to discuss how the UK’s transport network can achieve net zero.
The conference presents the key challenges and opportunities facing the sector, including private and public operators, UK and local government policy, and the effects of new technological advancements.
Attendees will also hear insight from a diverse range of leading speakers and pioneers in transport, with a focus on real-world case studies that highlight practical and integrated transport solutions.
Expert speakers will address issues such as future trends in transport systems; active travel initiatives around the world; public buy-in for implementing clean air initiatives; mobility hub scalability, adaptability and potential uses; modal shift and last mile delivery in freight solutions; integrated transport, ticketing and mobility-as-a-service; and electric vehicle infrastructure.
There will also be an Innovation Zone, sponsored by DfT, showcasing 20 companies that are pushing the boundaries of net zero transport solutions.
