Component manufacturer, Stadco, has confirmed a £15 million investment in its Telford-based facility that will support the installation of a new production line at the site.

Ford’s 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine, which was designed and engineered in the UK, has been named 2013 International Engine of the Year.

Total CV registrations dipped 4.7% in May to 24,149 units, but market remains up 8.3% for the year-to-date.

UK new car registrations grew 11% to 180,111 units in May.

Government has announced a £5 million initiative, called the Clean Bus Technology Fund, which will allow local authorities across England to upgrade their buses to use greener technologies.
