SMMT and the Department for Business and Trade will organise a trade mission to the World New Energy Vehicle Congress (WNEVC), Hainan, China this September.
Programme:
23-26 September: Visits to Chinese OEMs / travel to Hainan
27 September: Attend World New Energy Vehicle Congress, Hainan
For the trade mission, we anticipate calls on Chinese vehicle manufacturers in Eastern China.
World New Energy Vehicle Congress
The World New Energy Vehicle Congress is expected to attract around 2,000 delegates from industry, government and the media and includes an exhibition. As part of the Congress, there will be a UK – China session offering an opportunity for UK delegates to present to an audience of approximately 200.

Delegate profile
This visit is suitable for companies already doing business in China and those looking to explore the market for the first time with support from SMMT and the Department for Business and Trade.
There is no fee to attend but delegates will need to cover their own travel and accommodation costs.
Limit of one delegate per company due to capacity constraints.
