Inward trade delegation: German e-mobility

Global market entry network Trade Horizons is organising a Trade Mission in E-Mobility to the West Midlands for German companies. The project is part of the Market Development Program of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).

The focus of the delegation is to meet UK industry leaders, share knowledge, learn about the UK’s E-Mobility ecosystem and find possible partnerships.

About the delegation

The delegation features German companies operating in different segments within the electromobility sector: from charging infrastructure, stations and solutions to commercial electric vehicles, clad materials, battery testing, components, sensors, software, ADAS and much more. Agenda

SMMT members are invited, free of charge, to attend either or both of the following sessions:

25 October: Mission Presentation in Warwick, Scarman building Warwick conferences
Professor Dave Greenwood and Dr Siddartha Khastgir of Warwick University, Luke Hampton of SMMT and Gunwant Dhadyalla of AESIN, will cover different aspects of E-Mobility sector, German delegates will present their technologies and companies, free lunch and networking will follow. The detailed programme is available on request.

26 October: B2B session, Priory rooms in Birmingham
British participants will be able to meet the German delegates for 1 to 1 meetings, participants are invited to reserve a slot (9am-5pm) to book the meetings with delegates of interest.
