Róbert Ésik Chief Executive Officer
Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA)

Róbert Ésik is an economist and a finance & investment analysis expert. He graduated at the Corvinus University of Budapest and earned a master’s degree at the Université Panthéon Assas in Paris.

He spent almost 15 years in various positions at the largest ICT companies of the world, such as Alcatel, Siemens, Nokia and Amazon. As the country director of Nokia Solutions and Networks he played a key role in the Hungarian subsidiary becoming one of Nokia’s most important technology development centres.

Since October 2014 he has been directing the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA).

Róbert’s professional, as well as personal ambition is to further promote his homeland as a favourable investment location and by so doing contribute to Hungary’s economic and social development.

 

Zoltán Hamar Managing Director
Automotive Proving Ground Zala Company

Zoltán HAMAR, graduated as M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering in 1998 at the Technical University Budapest. Since then he worked for Knorr-Bremse Research and Development Hungary, initially as a Test Engineer, later as Head of the Test Department of electronic braking systems. He has almost 20 years of experience in vehicle testing at proving grounds all around the Europe including the validation of connected and automated vehicle systems. He is one of the initiators of the ZalaZone proving ground project in Hungary since 2008 and joined APZ (Automotive Proving Ground Zala Company) from the start in 2016 as Chief Technical Officer, from 2018 as managing director. Parallel from 2019, he leads the track operator organisation of ZalaZONE (APZ Nonprofit Ltd.). Beside this he coordinates the automotive working group of the Hungarian Mobility Platform which has a connecting role between the industrial partners and the Hungarian government.

 

Nevijo Mance Managing Director
Jaguar Land Rover Hungary

Jaguar Land Rover has been named the Engineering Centre Investor of the Year in 2018. It joins Jaguar Land Rover’s engineering network based in the UK, Republic of Ireland, China and North America and also supports the launch of vehicles into the company’s global manufacturing locations.
