Bus registration strong again in May

* Registration trends remains much better than expected for big buses

* Big coaches also set robustly record levels

* Growth trend for midi and heaviest mini buses slows slightly, but volumes robust

“May delivered yet more encouraging sustained growth in bus and coach registrations,” said Paul Everitt, SMMT chief executive.  “Big bus and coach registrations have grown for six straight months and 12 for coaches.  We’re cautious about the year ahead, but from a better position than we expected.”
