Continuing in an effort to provide new car buyers with clear information, the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership (LowCVP), the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) and ISBA (the voice of British advertisers) have launched the revised Best Practice Principles for environmental claims in marketing.

The Best Practice Principles have been developed by SMMT, LowCVP and ISBA as a framework and a starting reference point for consumers, the automotive industry and its marketers in the sphere of marketing communications for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles (up to 3.5 tonnes).

Pioneering Coventry-based SME Microcab and hydrogen fuel cell specialists Arcola have taken up a one-week residency at SMMT’s Westminster headquarters to showcase their 2013 Life Without Oil project.
