About Germany Trade & Invest
Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) is the economic development agency of the Federal Republic of Germany. With more than 50 offices in Germany and abroad, and its network of partners throughout the world, GTAI supports German companies setting up in foreign markets, promotes Germany as a business location and assists foreign companies setting up in Germany.
In this role, GTAI is tasked with the following:
- Securing the success of Germany’s small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector in international competition
- Strengthening Germany as a business location by attracting foreign direct investment
- Positioning Germany as one of the most attractive business locations internationally

Rob is an all-around German market expert and has led the London office of Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) since 2018, where he is the first point of contact for UK companies looking to expand to Germany. Previously he was director of GTAI’s Milan office, covering market intelligence on Italy and Malta, as well as a press officer at GTAI’s headquarters in Berlin.

Responsible for the operation and management of the Wrightbus International Pte Ltd APAC business. This involves co-ordination and management of our Manufacturing facility in Malaysia and the after sales support and management of over 3000 buses in Hong Kong and Singapore which are in daily operation
